A Smartphone: What Do You Need To Lookout For?

I've used quite a number of phones in my life. When it comes to me and phones you can almost write a novel with a roller coaster plot and an over all theme being; ''Eric sucks at using a phone for long''. You'd be spot on! Its not a thing of pride, however, it has opened the door for me to a wide variety of experiences, and hence this gives me good authority to write this post.

Its weekend again. The day (or days) couples-to-be around the world look forward to tying the knot. The day they gaze at each other's eyes with love, joy and glee and say their ''I dos''. It's a beautiful spectacle to behold with the eyes I must tell you. And what other thing there befall the eyes? The wedding ring!

WHY I HATE SCHOOL BUT LOVE EDUCATION

Suli Breaks is a spoken word/motivational artist. He's work is renowned for passing thought-provoking questions to his audience. He has shared a stage with the likes of Bill Gates in the past. This is one of his piece which I think transcends the question: Are we learning or being educated?. Are we stuck in the four corners of an academic Institute(which doesn't work for everyone, apparently) or are we chasing our dreams, goals, aspirations, desires? Are we developing ourselves or are we depending on what a piece of paper says? I'm juiced up for the week with this in my thoughts. Here you go: WHY I HATE SCHOOL BUT LOVE EDUCATION by Suli Breaks. Enjoy.

The Egg Principle

The last few days have been those of personal accomplishments - I set up my blog, I'm making little, but steady, progress in my rapping and I'm getting even closer to my classmates, which was a personal struggle before. While those give me smiles and encouragement for more to be accomplished I'm also deeply saddened I might have to make certain hurtful decisions. Yes, its not always about the smiles when you see me along the road.

Why Onions Make You Cry

Unless you've avoided kitchen duties all your life, which I doubt, you must have cried - not because you populated the whole pot of soup or stew with enough seasoning meant for a festival(guilty of that) and got the corresponding hand of justice from your mum, but because you chopped an onion! Or, if you were as unlucky as I was, chopped lots of it!

Quote Of The Month

Peaceful is the one who's not concerned with having more or less. Unbound by the name and fame, he is free from sorrow from the world and mostly from himself - Rumi.
